Outdoor and activity-focused workplaces

WHAT: Eon:s new headquarter building in Malmö is designed to make people want to come even if they can work from home. It is structured around an activity-based office space, with plenty of green space, gardens, indoor open spaces, outdoor-working pods, a restaurant,  a gym and yoga space. 

 

SO WHAT: Priorities in making offices attractive places to work are changing: departments are no longer the focus, but activity-based workplaces. Wide, open or outdoor areas are becoming more attractive as people prioritise mental wellbeing at work. The offices of the future will most likely follow similar designs, to allow work to be a place people want to attend, and where creativity and collaboration can be nurtured.
